Under algeba, if u see the formula
x^2 + x + 2 = 0
When u sketch, the shape will be a U shaped
-x^2 + x + 2 = 0
When u sketch with the formula of x^2 with a negative in front, the shape will be a n-shaped
3 things that you MUS have to draw the function curve
- X intercept (when y = 0), normally there is 2 X-intercept
- Y intercept (when x = 0)
- the highest point or the lowest point of the curve
